Information Security and Privacy in the Cyber-Age
We are in a time of cyber crisis. Evidence continues to surface of Russian interference in the 2016 Presidential election. The breach of the Democratic National Committee. Confirmed breaches into state election systems. Fake news. Twitter bots.
All of this on-top-of-epidemic levels of cybercrime, much of it aimed at our mid-size and smaller business and nonprofit organization.
By telling the stories of cyber crime victims and cybersecurity champions, Dr. Stahl engages his audience in the reality of cyber crime, arguably the greatest challenge of the Internet age.
From the Board Room to the family, Dr. Stahl’s non-technical entertaining talks provide real-world guidance for everyone wanting to know what they can do to meet the challenge of cyber crime.

- Business and Personal Guide to Staying Safe in Cyber-Space: For consumers, sole practitioners and small business owners, this talk provides practical tips everyone can follow to better protect themselves.
- Cyber Freedom: Using the story of the Russian breach of the Democratic National Committee, Stan discusses the basic things every organization must do if it’s to effectively manage its cybersecurity risk. And he discusses what we as a nation must do if we are to have confidence in the integrity of the election process.
- We the People: Meeting the Challenges of Security and Privacy in the Cyber-Age: For engaged citizens wanting to explore the balance between our individual right to privacy and our collective need to protect ourselves and our economy. (The perspective of this talk is aligned with Dr. Stahl’s website The Agnostic Patriot.)
